About Me
I’ve always been a photographer. It just took me awhile to get a fancy camera. Three years ago my dad fixed that by giving me his, and the rest unfolded as perhaps it was always meant to unfold, from the sidelines of my kid's games. This isn't because I was super enthused to be there - no! But because I needed something to do with my hands. I was nervous, you see, and learning the settings of my camera, experimenting with different angles, capturing the excitement as it peaked on the field was both a distraction and an exhilaration. I was hooked!
As time went on both my skill and love for the game grew and now here I am, a regular on the sidelines, ooohing and aaaahing over the absolute aura these athletes produce on film. I just love it!
What I hope to achieve through this art form is to tell the story beyond the game. To me it's 'more than a game', and I think that shows in my work.
I look forward to continuing this work for a long time to come, and maybe even working with you!
